Within irrigated perimeters of the region, crop production mainly includes products with high added value such as cherry tomatoes, melon and blueberries..

Another highlight of the region
Camel breeding with more than 100 000 heads in the area. Local cooperatives have been able to promote a range of camel products: meat, milk, camel milk cheese, but also leather and wool.
