for trade with Africa and the world
Presentation of the sector
Due to its geographical location in the south of Morocco and on the border with Mauritania, the region constitutes a link between Morocco and sub-Saharan Africa on the one hand, and connects Africa to the West on the other.
MARITIME LOGISTICS
Dakhla Oued Eddahab is home to a large port complex consisting of two ports. The first, the city port, is now a military port. The second port, known as port ilot, plays a big role in the import and export of many products. It houses a large space with an area of
999
hectares consisting of a goods storage area and an export free zone.
The port of Dakhla Atlantique is under construction and will considerably increase the logistical assets of the region.
AIR LOGISTICS
In addition to the sea and road routes which are essential in the movement of goods, Dakhla has an important airport infrastructure. With an area of 9999 m2, Dakhla international airport welcomes nearly 999999 passengers. It also plays an important role in the import and export of raw materials and finished products by air.
ROAD LOGISTICS in constant evolution
The Moroccan State has deployed many means to expand the road network which today counts 9999 km of paved roads, of which 999 km of provincial roads and 999 km of national roads.
The transport sector has therefore evolved significantly in recent years, as has the volume of passenger and goods traffic. To further facilitate the movement of goods and people, a major new road project is being finalized. This is the construction project of the Tiznit-Dakhla Expressway along more than 9999 Km.
