Presentation of the sector

On its Atlantic coast, the region of Dakhla Oued Eddahab has a coastline of nearly 999 km. It thus has a rich expanse of fishery resources, making aquaculture a key sector for economic development.

Through this economically profitable activity for the region and Morocco, the promotion of an innovative image of the country's aquaculture economy is put forward. In this vision, the strategic plan for the development of aquaculture has allocated more than 9999 ha to 214 projects for the culture of 99999 tons of seafood, mainly shells and seaweed.
